Dear Christina,

I noticed that you covered over part of what I had in the display case outside my office. I feared this unintentional montage might confuse some of your students, so I have removed all of the extraneous and frivolous materials I had put there.

Along the same lines, there are a few square feet of floor space in my office not being used productively at the present time, so if you have a similar urgent nee for storage, or just get tired of looking at the walls of your own office, please feel free to avail yourself.

And while I\'m at it, I have two nice bedrooms in my house reserved for guests. These rooms are not being occupied right now, so if you have visitors in town, please send them over. It’s be delighted to come home and find strangers living upstairs.

Sincerely,

RJC
My dad is a Physics Professor at USC (the REAL USC, not Southern Cal!), with a wicked sense of humor. He wrote this, and I just had to share. It makes me laugh everytime I read it. For the record: THIS IS NOT MINE, IT'S MY DAD'S. *In all caps no less.* :D (Big Grin)

PS-I can't remeber if he actually sent it or not.

too cool. this was a surprise. i started reading and was thinking that he was shy and really liked this girl that sat ("you covered",(literally)LOL) on the display case outside his office. then i thought he moved his stuff to make room for her to be closer. i thought he was inviting her into his office to visit from her office (quess i am a romantic) but then in the middle of the last paragraph it got pretty clear that he is fed up with that overbearing, pushy, unthoughtful women that bullied her stuff into his space. he is a nice guy, i can tell. hey check out my "science geek"
